Effectively, by choosing to fly it in 'safe' regions rather than 'contested' regions they are turning coat against the LGBT community. When a corporation flies the pride flag in a country that already has a degree of equal rights this doesn't mean very much compared to flying it in a country or region in which those rights are either under threat or non-existent. If you fly a pride flag it is a protest against the persecution of LGBT people. Pride was not about whether you are for or against gay civil rights - it was a demonstration that demanded equal rights regardless of what the majority wishes. The problem is not whether or not they are showing support for Pride - the problem is that they're undermining the very point of pride to begin with.
